The Shutter House is a playful combination of farmhouse and coastal style. As you enter you are welcomed by a voided entry and extra wide hall before opening up to the dining, kitchen and living room. The living room ceiling stands tall with a raked cathedral ceiling and wraps around the pool and garden. Lots of natural materials have been used throughout the build including french-lay travertine on the porch, laundry and powder room, blue-celeste marble mosaics and subway tiles in the kitchen and bathrooms, and white-rosca marble french lay in the alfresco and pool surrounds. It has a bight white open feel, with the living areas and pool and alfresco feeling very connected. The floor to ceiling windows let in an abundance of natural light and evoke a sense of casual, calm and coastal vibes.
